golfermom - It says he is in the 99th percentile for weight AND height, so he is presumably proportional... As someone whose child was in the 99th percentile for weight and 95th for height, I don't think children should be excludable based on weight.

Wow... This article says SO much about what has gone wrong in the last 30+ years... The Wall Street tycoons took a successful, low-debt, stable company and leveraged it up the @$$ to line their own pockets. They stole all the future profits of the company to maximize today’s payday.

I'm surprised "Owning Mahowny" with Phillip Seymour Hoffmann was left off the list. depressing as can be, sure, but based on a true story. A young up-and-coming bank manager in Toronto has a rep as a workaholic who is also great with customers. Very successful.

Comedy isn't defamation. It's understood that a comic may be making a punchline up, or exaggerating or adapting a story to fit the act!

I firmly believe that it is the focus on academics at the expense of everything else that is partially at fault in many of the problems our children have today (obesity, ADHD, depression, etc.). All children have different talents and interests, and that variety of interests needs to be encouraged.

Umm, so let's see... If you have electricity and water in your home, you pay for the amount you access. If you have cable, you pay extra for movie channels - you pay for access to what you want.
